This page explains what Dream Care collects when you shop with us, why, and what you can turn off.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, email address and delivery address. If you create an account we also keep your sign-in email. Your bag is remembered with a cookie so it survives between visits.

Cash on delivery

Orders are paid in cash when they arrive, so we never see or store card details. Your name, phone number and address are passed to the courier who delivers your order, because a delivery cannot happen without them.

Cookies and measurement

We use Meta's pixel and Conversions API to see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to orders. When you view a product, add to your bag or place an order, we send Meta a record of that event. Contact details sent this way are converted into an irreversible code (a SHA-256 hash) before they leave our servers — Meta can use it to recognise an existing customer, and cannot read your email or phone number from it.

Turning tracking off

Choose Decline in the banner at the bottom of the page and we stop sending anything to Meta, from the browser and from our servers alike. The shop works exactly the same either way. Your choice is remembered for a year; clearing your cookies asks again.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our email provider (Resend), which sends your order confirmations, the courier delivering your order, and Meta, as described above. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Orders are kept as business records for as long as the law requires. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to orders@dreamcarenails.com and we will answer.
